Feces Occult Blood (FOB) test strips (colloidal gold) are used for in vitro qualitative determination of human hemoglobin in the sample of human feces. A positive test indicates the presence of blood in the stool and aids in the diagnosis of disease within the digestive tract, and especially, in the screening of colorectal cancer.
