CK-MB once treated as “gold standard” for diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction (AMI) in traditional myocardial enzymology and possesses highest specificity among the MYO and cTnI. It is more reliable to determination the activities of CK-MB than to do an electrocardiogram in diagnosing of AMI.
